After checking that everyone is safe and accounted for, you’ll need to collect insurance information. Be sure to take a photo of the other party’s driver’s license and vehicle registration.

Keep in mind, this can vary. In New York, there’s something called a tow rotation, which means other towing companies may be dispatched to pick up vehicles from major highways. Either way, it’s no problem at all — we’ll take care of you when you arrive.

Once you arrive, you’ll be greeted by our staff and guided through the next steps of the process. We’ll have you complete our intake form and gather some important details, such as your insurance information, your vehicle’s VIN, and a brief description of the accident.

The next step is handing your keys over to us — and from there, we take care of the rest. We’ll contact your insurance company and begin the claims process. Typically, we’ll then wait for an adjuster to perform a field assessment, where they come out to inspect and evaluate the damage to your vehicle.

This step is where we take full control again. Once the adjuster has assessed the damage, we’ll prepare an estimate and submit it to your insurance for approval and payment. Once everything is approved, we’ll order your parts, complete the repairs, and refinish the paint to get your vehicle back to showroom condition.

This is the final — and most important — step. Your entire vehicle goes through a full quality check and final inspection. If needed, we’ll perform an alignment, give the car a full wash, and then contact you to let you know your vehicle is ready for pickup.
